About Us
Mission: The primary mission of EmergyCare is to provide life-saving pre-hospital care. Additionally, we connect people and communities to the healthcare system through comprehensive medical transportation solutions and lead the industry in education, advocacy, and collaborative community initiatives.
- EmergyCare is the largest nonprofit ambulance service in all of Pennsylvania.
- We receive no tax revenue from the communities we serve.
- We are also Pennsylvania’s ONLY truly comprehensive medical transport service providing everything from non-emergency wheelchair and medical taxi transport, to emergency ambulance and paramedic response to air medical services with LifeStar helicopter.
- EmergyCare is so much more than just an ambulance service. Our mission is, of course, saving lives in emergency situations but on a day-to-day basis we keep people connected to the healthcare system, provide educational opportunities, we advocate for the EMS industry and we lead collaborative efforts to make sure the communities we serve get level of service they deserve.
