EmergyCare Medical Director Goes to Haiti
UPDATE: Watch this video where Dr. Bieniek appears briefly on a Good Morning Amercia piece on Haiti.
New Critical Care Transport Ambulance Now In Service
This morning, January 28th, 2010, Monsignor Snyderwine of St. Luke’s Parish, blessed EmergyCare’s new Critical Care Transport ambulance with holy water. This ceremony has come to be a tradition at EmergyCare as Monsignor Snyderwine has served as our chaplain since our inception in 1983!
Looking Ahead...
It has been a few years since EmergyCare has formally planned a strategy for the future. Senior management and members of our Board of Directors have spent many hours developing our plan for the future.
LifeStar Update!
Our plan to move LifeStar to the Corry-LawrenceAirport has been delayed. The site design has been approved and contractor estimates for utility work has been received. The Bureau of Aviation must make final approval via FAA Form 7460. This form was submitted several weeks ago and we anxiously await their approval.
New Tagline!
We are proud to announce a new tagline that will be coming soon to ambulances near you!
“Caring for Our Community, One Patient at a Time”
One of our very own employees created this slogan. More than 26 years in this business has taught me that the very best EMTs and paramedics are the ones that genuinely care about people. I am proud to say that the kindness, compassion and selflessness of our people is what makes EmergyCare special.
- Bill Hagerty, Executive Director
It is true...
It is true… You’ve likely heard rumors or seen news reports about LifeStar moving to the Corry-Lawrence Airport, and we are in fact, working to make this happen. Our current location in Harborcreek is located just one mile off Lake Erie where we obviously do not need to fly. A new location in Corry would place us closer to regional hospitals and help us provide better, faster service to critical patients requiring rapid transport. I’ll be glad to share more information as this plan develops, so please visit our site again soon!
