Highmark Makes Gift to EmergyCare

On June 16 James W. Martin, Community Affairs Director for Highmark, stopped by the EmergyCare station at 18th & Sassafras to learn about our life-saving mission first hand.  He didn't need emergency medical attention; instead he was here to become more informed about how Highmark's recent contribution makes an impact on the health and well-being of our region.

Highmark is supporting two of EmergyCare's upcoming special events, Tour de West County on July 23 and our Golf Tournament on August 12.  Proceeds from both events will be used to enhance EmergyCare's ability to provide the highest quality patient care available.  Each year EmergyCare responds to more than 90,000 requests for care across northwestern PA.  Charitable contributions from members, patients, foundations, corporations and caring community members helps ensure our highly trained medical professionals have the tools and equipment they need to deliver life-saving care.  When your health is on the line, EmergyCare will be there to help.
